I began playing golf at the age of 12 and had an instant love and natural talent for the game. Progressing to a low handicapp by the age of 16, I played on the Fordham Prep. and then Fordham Univ. golf teams; which allowed me 8 years of practice at our home course, one of the finest coureses in the world, Winged Foot G.C. In 2004 I turned professional and started attempting to qaulify for various Nationwide, PGA Tour, and national events. For the last few years I was Director of Golf at The Club of Riverdale in NYC where I have lived most of my life. Most recently I moved with my family to central CT and have taken a golf professional position at the esteemed Ellington Ridge C.C. where they host, among other events, the qualifing stage of The Travelers Championship.
Through the years I have benefited from the knowledge and generosity of some great instructors. At a young age I started working with Ron Choquette of Burden Lake C.C. in upstate NY who taught me many of the sound fundamentals of the game that sill hold strong today. Later I worked with Lloyd Monroe of Wykagyl C.C. who became a mentor over an 8 year relationship, and he helped refine my game and mind to a new level. Over the last couple of years I have been working with my friend and collegue, the famed Roberto Borgatti, author of "A Swing you can Trust" who has had a tremendous influence on my swing and my approach to the game.
For over 16 years I have been offering professional instruction. Melding many of the aspects I have been fortunate enough to learn over the years, I have developed a holistic approach to the game that can benefit players of every level. Golf is a challenge, for anyone at any age, and any level, and no two golfers are the same. I believe that the only right swing in golf is the one that's right for you. I like to work with each student, evaluate their game, and come up with a plan of action that is best suited to optimize their swing potential. If you have a passion for golf then I'm here to help take that passion and materialize it into reality. |
